A: No, these should not be used. #58-6117 is replacement tip for #58-6301 Dual Heat Soldering Station #58-6113 is the correct replacement tip for the #58-6305.

Q: Are these tips the same material that the original one is made with? I'm looking to get a new tip that doesn't go black while heating up... I can't even tin the tip once it gets black...

A: It shouldn’t get black and it is possible that the original tip was defective. You should replace it (058-6117).
