Second one worked!

The first one had to be returned because the trigger mechanism would not release. Canadian Tire is excellent about returning things like this. The replacement sticks a bit but does release to allow the compressed air to flow. I like the locking mechanism on the valve attachment very much so I’m hoping for the best.

Trigger is very hard to pull. Air leaks when connecting to tire valve. Gauge glows in the dark, which could be handy I guess. It's nice that the needle and other adapter store right in the handle.

Valve attachment cracked

The plastic valve attachment completely broke while inflating my tires. Sure it was cold, but isn't this stuff made for our climate? It is "Canadian" Tire after all...

This works perfectly to check the air on my trailer tires, tells you how much air you have, then you attach to your compressor and put in what you need. I also did my bike tires!

Q: How do you attach the presta valve attachment

A: With the black lever down place valve attachment on the valve stem as far down as possible. Then, while holding the attachment down lift the black lever up to secure the attachment to the valve stem. Hope this helps.
