Cheap plastic levers

Only as strong as the weakest link. Why make a solid metal stand only to have the most important safety feature made of cheap brittle plastic. I called customer service and they informed me they don't have replacement levers either. Very frustrating to have a brand new stand only to break a vital component the first time in use. The only way to secure the dangerous saw to the stand is with these levers and once one breaks the entire stand is useless. Slow clap for the engineer drop outs on this one.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Looks like a great saw stand

Just bought this saw stand March 13/25.Have not attached my miter saw to it yet.Spring is here ,so the projects will be starting. Very little assembly required. Note* When the saw is removed from stand with the quick release mounting brackets, place 2 x 4 pieces of wood underneath before sitting it down. This will protect the plastic leavers from being damaged. I hope this will help future purchasers .

Sturdy BUT plastic mounting bracket levers broke

I just bought this in March 2025 and I am disappointed that the mounting bracket levers are made of plastic. When I set the stand up I secured the mounting brackets to the bottom of my Mastercraft 12" mitre saw and I was please at how well it fit on the stand and how sturdy it was. Then when I removed my heavy mitre saw off the stand and placed it on my garage work bench, the mounting bracket levers snapped apart as they are made of plastic and perhaps lower than the base of the saw. So although it's seems like a good unit for a homeowner's use, beware that the levers are plastic and subject to breakage. Not sure how I am going to use it now for my projects this spring?

A: Yes, it can be used with a sliding compound mitre saw as long as the mitre saw size under below range and the mount hole size match the stand hole size. The max mounting distance is 38cm (14 31/32”).
