There’s a reason this is no longer available.

I bought this to try to get a broken brake bleeder screw out of a caliber . I started with the smallest size and it drilled well. I tried the extractor end and it snapped off almost immediately in the screw. Trying to drill out the broken extractor was a waste of time.I tried them all and was left with four dull bits .Ended up just buying a new caliper which is what I will do next time.

Caused more headache than the stuck bolt

After snapping a bolt in my motorcycle frame, I thought I would try these extractors. Drilled the hole then tried the extractor ... And the thing snapped with only mild pressure. I was only using a hand wrench - no excessive powertool torque. Now I'm dealing with a snapped bolt with a chunk of hardened steel in the middle - aargh!!! I'm guessing these things would be fine for wood applications or something similar where the bolt has very little holding power, but they are certainly not for any tough job. This product was returned within 4 hours of purchase.

I drilled a hole in the bolt with a regular bit first then used the extractor. Came out instatly. Awesome!

This is absolutely a great tool to remove larger sized bolts or screws that have the heads stripped out. Very tough and reliable. I just wish there was a smaller unit in the set for removing smaller screws.
