A: In my opinion, the video is incorrectly showing how to wind up the extension cord onto the Mastercraft "H" Rack Cord Wrap Reel. I'm no expert on this reel thing but I believe the round peg (in this video it's on the top of the reel and facing away from the person) is supposed to be used in conjunction with turning the crank to make it easier to wind up. The video doesn't show the round spinning peg being utilized when I think it is supposed to be used. Also, this reel doesn't do a good job or work at all unless you are very careful to keep the cord that you are wanting to wind up in the middle of the long prongs at both ends of the reel instead of letting it go outside of them. Hope this helps.

Q: how does the mastercraft H configuration extension cord winder work?? there are no instructions , have no clue how it works!! I have looked for any information and I cant find any .

A: Please see attached images showing two different ways to coil the cord on the cord rack. The black slide switch(slides up and down to lock the rack from moving) at the bottom of the rack in the middle on both images. This allows the rotary rack to be locked in place so it doesn’t uncoil and is easier to travel and stow. When you want to uncoil the cord, simply unlock the switch and the cord can be unraveled easily.

A: This product is designed to easily wrap an extension cord for easy storage. 1. Place the ends in the designated spaces on the side of the reel. 2. Wrap cord around the middle of the reel while holding handle on side 3. To unwrap cord, unlock round handle on side 4. While holding onto the handle, pull on cord and reel will spin for easy unwrapping. 5. Once cord is taken off of reel, place lock on round handle.
