Things you need to know before you buy one

Other reviews mentioned the template and the spacing for the 2 support arms. This product was not designed to consider typical North American construction. The support arms are spaced at 12" spacings, not the standard 16". I screwed two 1"'x 6" boards onto the studs in my garage, then used the template. If you use the included template (shop drawing) it is easy.

Fragile Installation

It is a great idea for tight place that are sometime used to work. But the design is not sturdy enough. They should have provided the support with 12" and 16" spacing multiple to be able to anchor on a stud. The paper they provide to drill hole is, again, a good idea but the holes diid not quite align for me.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: So what is the available spacing for install Will it go to the studs on 16 inch,18 inch or 24 inch ? I would like to know before I buy. Thanks PS: Anyone who has bought one...is it easy to get up and down ?

A: I just installed the folding work bench. It does not look like you have any options for different spacing. You could screw a backer board (plywood) that is 48" x 18" to 3 sets of studs. Then install the bench on the backer board using the template.
