Q: How do you hang the bike on the rack?

A: This bicycle hook mounts directly onto the wall (should be screwed in where there is a stud so it can support the weight.)

Q: Which one are they selling? From the advertising pictures above I notice 2 types of hooks. First picture is Mastercraft straight arms and the second picture is No Brand angled arms. Which one are they selling?

Q: I believe the photo with this product belongs with mastercraft bike hook - vertifcal!?! It made it a little confusing until looking at the vertical hook product details and seeing both vertical and horizontal photos there.

Q: How far dows the bike sit away from the wall (i.e. where is the centre of the bike relative to the wall when mounted on this holder)?

A: The frame sits 9.75" away from the wall. On my daughter's little bike, the end of the handlebar just misses the wall, but on my full size mountain bike, they do touch and would end up tilting the wheel outwards a little. However, for my application, I mounted it on a stud on an unfinished wall such that the handlebars goes past the studs, hence no wheel tilt. Hope that helps.
