Took these right to their stated max (1/8”)- had a length of 1/8” chain that needed to be cut down. Took a bit of effort but popped the link nonetheless! Keep your expectations in line with the size of the cutter and you’ll be golden.

A: Squeeze the handles together, then pull down the circle pin that’s located right between the blades.

A: It depends on the gauge of the wire. It is used to cut 3.5mm maximum gauge of iron wire, and 2.0mm maximum gauge of steel wire(HRC is around 28).

Q: 2/0 AWG WIRE would these be able to cut size 2/0 awg copper wire?

A: The mini bolt cutter (SKU 58-2001) is not able to cut 2/0 AWG copper wire because of its capacity, 1/8" (3.1mm) at maximum. The 2/0 AWG wire measures 0.3648” (9.27mm).
