    Not great

I tried cutting 3/4" plywood which this blade should be able to handle but it struggled and ended up burning the wood while cutting. I got the cuts done eventually but I wish that I had spent a bit more on something better quality.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Customer Service
I apologize for the poor experience you had with our Mastercraft 7 1/4" Plywood Blade. It's unfortunate to hear that it struggled and ended up burning the wood while cutting. If you haven't done so already, I recommend taking the blade to the nearest store for further assistance. Our team will be able to help address the issue and provide a resolution. If you have any further questions or need more information, please feel free to call our support line at 1-800-689-9928.

    Questions

    1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Q: Is this blade good for cutting laminate countertops? I have a big piece of laminate countertop that I need to cut into sections. Debating whether this is an appropriate blade or should I use a jigsaw ?

    1 Answer
    • A: It is not recommended for laminates, I would suggest you use a single sided laminate blade. Plywood blades do not have titanium tips, which is needed to cut through the laminate.

    1 Answer
    • A: Une lame de scie carbure de dent doit être utilisé. Un nombre élevé de dents doit également être utilisé. 7,25" par 40 dent ou 10" par 60 dent ou supérieur.
