Does the opposite of intended purpose

I bought this to rid moisture going out the hose. Now it spits out water like crazy. I have a small compressor that I use to blow dust off wood after being sanded. I never had this issue before buying this and I rarely drained the tank. Now even draining the tank every day I get a lot of water coming out the hose. The clear bowl barely fills up as it all goes out the hose. It is like a water generator.

No, I do not recommend this product.

very disappointed with quality – fair performance

I purchased one and replaced it the day I installed it. The replacement lasted a few hours of light-duty use and I will return it for a refund and purchase a better quality filter elsewhere. In both cases, the O-ring near the drain leaked and would not seal. This filter assembly is poorly designed. The O-ring at the bottom of the bowl seals against a sharp edge of the bowl so it quickly deteriorates and starts to leak. Also, the O-ring at the top of the bowl is almost impossible to align when the unit is installed right-side up so is very easy to tear. While it worked, the filter did remove some water from the air supply but was not as effective as I expected. I would not recommend this product for any purpose.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Tool Saviour

This little assistance is what you need in your shop/garage if you want to use your air tools or still have a susesful paint job in years to come. this is a very convenient filter; that for the price, works better then the high prfessional filters you see in automobile shops and hangers. Having this tool in your shop well certinly extend the life of your air tools. There is also a threading on the outlet so you can attach a coupling for the discarding water that comes out of the outlet. Depending on the climate you live in and how much this product is used during use. This filter only has to be emptied every month or more, usualy you would want to empty it after every 15 uses or about 50 hours. This filter also has a safety machinism that locks the filter in place so that you can not open it during use. It does this from the pressure build up in the filter. This filter requires no foam, or any replaceable material. whats inside is a rigid wheel that is made of duarable hard plastic. When the air comes in it spins around this wheel shaped opbject before exites out of the outlet port. I would highly recomend this tool to someone else. the small filters that attach to the guns are rubish, they get in the way when in tigh places and also make your gun heaveir and more difficult to handle.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: what size plugs are used for connectors? Does the filter connect to the compressor with a pipe? Is that pipe included? What plugs or parts do I need to have to hook this up to my compressor, and run air through a 1/4 hose to a blow gun?

    • A: To add to the previous comment, where you put the dryer/filter is important. One of the best places is, usually as far from the compressor as possible, especially if using copper/metal lines (DO NOT use PVC) as the air cools the further it travels. It is best to run either a hose or piping up a wall (water cannot travel uphill) and along, say, a ceiling, then down again. The filter is best placed at the outlet of the compressor. At any of the lowest spots, put in a drain plug to prevent water/oil buildup there. Another suggestion would be to get a small, inexpensive filter to attach, by a quick connect, to you tools, especially a paint gun.

Q: Where do I get a mounting bracket I have bought one of these. The instructional piping diagram refers to a "No 6 Modular Bracket". A search of your website does not return such a bracket I am using this in conjunction with your 3/8" regulator

    1 Answer
    • A: There’s no universal bracket can be used, and vendor haven’t made such special bracket for conjunction yet, so we advise that you buy a 3/8” male coupling to connect each other.
