It worked and did the job I wanted but did not last very long
a month ago
I was doing a lot of wire brushing on my bench grinder. The wire wheel did not last very long, to it's defense i was very aggressively using this to clean nuts and bolts that had rusted badly.

Q: Is this a BRASS wire wheel? Don't want to abrade my steel with a steel wheel -but brass is softer than steel and great for stripping and cleaning steel.
