Decent cordless screwdriver

This is a decent cordless screwdriver. It's got a good amount of torque and good battery life. It's excellent for those times when I don't need a full size drill / driver. My main use for it is as a driver for string winding on guitars etc. For that it is superb!

Good -- but could have been better

The Green, FULLY CHARGED light does not stay on after the first pull of the trigger, even though the driver had been on charge for two days.
I returned it as defective and received another.
Same thing.
This is annoying because without a legitimate start position you cannot gauge the life expectancy of the battery.
The holster is a very good idea, but short length screw bits drop into the pockets and cannot be extracted easily. Longer ones, which have to be purchased separately, work fine.
If they're going to the trouble of including pockets, I suggest they increase the size one to hold the USB charging cord. -- That's just a suggestion, though.
Other than that, it's fine and I am satisfied with its performance and especially like the LEDs used to illuminate the work.

I had a very similar product from Canadian Tire, but it required a specific adaptor. This one is USB, so I was happy to get a new one!!

Q: Can I use this to drill a hole in drywall to put in an anchor and hand a curtain rod?

A: These drills are low speed, so not ideal for drilling holes, however drywall is extremely easy to drill through. You will need bits with a 1/4" hex shank, not normal round ones for a regular drill. These are easy enough to find, as many compact drills and impact drivers use 1/4 hex chucks. (I know this is late, but might help someone else)

A: I just tried (although not very hard) and my answer is YES, you can. In general, I bought this item many years ago and it still works well, although I use it not very often at home. Also used it for light drilling with special bits I purchased separately.

A: This driver uses standard bits used on most drivers ie Dewalt etc available at most hardware stores. Rona, Home Depot etc.
