Q: I'm going to refinish my bathtub and it says to sand it first. Which grit should I use ?
8 years agoA: Without knowing the type of tub it would be hard to provide a recommendation. The fine grit sandpaper is 054-2187 1. Clean the bathtub inside and out to remove any soap scum. 2. Put on rubber gloves. 3. Remove the faucet handles and the drain spout if they are on the bathtub. 4. Sand the entire surface of the porcelain bathtub with fine-grit sandpaper.
