Q: Cambell Hausfeld?
Will this gun attach to a Cambell Hausfeld compressor? Is there an adapter available?

A: Yes. Actually, Campbell Hausfeld is the original manufacturer of this inflation gun. I have one bought years ago at CT (which just went way out of calibration now) and it's exactly the same gun to the drawing board, except it now bears the MasterCraft brand name instead of CH (and also that the gauge scale was up to 100 psi only). Maybe MC bought CH...(?) I'm sure you're actually perfectly fine with your matching CH compressor.

Q: Waring for washing hands? Why?
Why does this package warn taht hands must be washed afterward? What is in or on this that is dangerous?

A: I'll admit, I never read that. My guess would be that there may be metal dust from the manufacturing process on the new unit. It may get on your donut (laying on your work bench) or you rub your eyes and get metal dust in them. Besides, it's always a good idea to wash your hands after handling equipment.

Q: Can the MALE connector be removed from the blue handle to use a MALE hose adaptor.
2 Answers
A: Possibly. But rather than disturb the connector on the blue body (in case of warranty return) I had a hose adaptor that would fit unto the threads. First, I wrapped the threads with plumbers tape, then screwed on the adaptor. No leaks. Then I tested all the functions. Don't forget to keep the receipt.

Q: Gun has warning not to exceed 100psi yet gauge is rated to 230psi
Is the gun safe to use to 230psi? If not why advertise this as a feature on the packaging? Why did some of the guns in same packaging have 140psi rated gauges?

Q: how to calibrate air pressure gauge
how to calibrate the air pressure gauge it is off by 10 psi
12 years ago
2 Answers
A: If instead 0 the gauge shows 10, that means at 32PSI the gauge will show 42, so the easiest way is allways to substract 10 from the reading. Just check once with another gauge, just to be sure.

Q: Can Red Hose Be Unscrewed?
Can the red hose with the tire valve adapter be unscrewed and replace with another that has the same end and thread threads? I would like to use a hose adapter that I have for Presta bicycle tire valve.

A: It appears the hose will unscrew from the gun, but not sure what thread size it will be.
