Cant tell if grinder is any good cause batteries are garbage

I had this for awhile but never used it much. The past week i needed to use it so i did. I would charge it after 40 mins, id get 8 mins of run time. Then had to wait 30 mins for the temp light to go out then wait 40 mins to charge. Just to get 8 mins of run time!!!!! I can get more work done if i used my false teeth!!. I should have used it right away so i could have returned it.

I have the small and the large batteries and bought the grinder to go with them, a full charge lasts 4 minutes and it’s still below 25% after an hour, fast charge liars

when they work, they work great. I purchased a drill/impact driver combo with two batteries, one stopped taking a charge after a few months. I bought another 2 pack of batteries, and again, one stopped taking a charge very shortly after purchase. (The ones that work seem to work great)

Q: Are the new PWR POD batteries a suitable replacement for battery #054-3124-0? I took an older MC hammer drill to the local CTC. They put a new power pod on it and it fit well and worked fine but I ask my question anyway.

Q: One of my batteries will no longer charge, no lights come on when it is placed in the charger. Other batteries charge fine so it is not a problem with the charger. Is there anything that can be done?

    1 Answer
    • A: Hello, suggest to check the following manual to reconfirm the status of your battery; if the battery is indeed damaged and is still within the two-year warranty period, please call the Toll-free Helpline of Mecanair, at 1-800-689-9928. Thank you.

Q: Ihave a mastercraf drill 20 volt ion battery. It is not charge , both red an green light come up a second , go of .I dont now the battery or the charger is no good .

    1 Answer
    • A: "Both red and green light come up a second belongs to self test procedure. If the charger detects a problem, the red LED will begin flashing and the green LED will be off. 1. If registering as defective, remove and reinsert the battery pack in the charger. If the LED status reads “defective” a second time, try to charge a different battery pack. 2. If a different battery pack charges normally, dispose of the defective battery pack (see Maintenance section). 3. If a different battery pack also indicates “defective,” the charger may be defective."

Q: How long is the 3/8 drill time in minutes.

    1 Answer
    • A: There isn’t a fixed drill time because it is affected by different factors. Technically drilling time not only depends on the battery and tool, but also the type of drill bit you choose, the material you want to drill in as well as how much force you put on.

Q: Can I send this battery in for repairs? It's beyond the warranty. I bought a drill with this battery a few years ago. After only recharging it a handful of times, the battery is completely dead and won't recharge. It's ex-warranty so is there somewhere I can send the battery for repairs?

    1 Answer
    • A: Unfortunately, batteries are not repairable.
