A great pair of tools, two batteries, and quick charger

We purchased these tools to replace our DeWalt drill we lost in a fire. The flexibility of having a drill and an impact driver, both with their own battery, has proven to be very useful for us. We find the batteries last through a good amount of use and charge up quickly. This is very important as we use them at our off grid lake property. The only slightly negative comments we have are that the trigger on the impact driver is fairly sensitive making it challenging to use at anything less than full speed and that the chuck on the drill is a bit smoother than expected which can require a bit more strength to tighten or loosen it. Both tools have good power and are comfortable to use.

Great product for the price. 3/8 driver has become my go to for installing soffits and fascia. Pretty comfortable to hold and use for longer periods. Only time will tell how durable they are.

Q: I bought this combo recently. The impact driver jumps from a slow speed to a really fast speed quickly at one point as I press the trigger, not a smooth linear speeding up. Is this the way it's supposed to work? It strips my screw heads.

A: "smarter then you": Specs say "Impact driver with 0–2800 RPM/ 0–3300 BPM for driving screw and drilling into hard wood", not single speed. Variable speed is usually smooth from 0 to the top speed. My driver steps from low to fast real quick.
