Great tool to engrave all of your items that you purchased with your hard earned money, avoid conflict over who owns what, when you are sure that it is yours because you engraved it with this small tool. Save the conflict and buy this much needed valuable tool. Also works great for crafts, glass etching or personalized gifts! Many great uses for this item!

Q: Can it engrave onto wood (for simple things like names)?

A: Hello: It will engrave wood, quite easily. works great for a simple small font engraving. Obviously metal as well. If your planning on doing many item, the battery draws down after 12-15 engravings however battery replacement is easy and quick.
