Q: The instructions say to put 6 drops of oil in at the start and then again every 2 hours of operation. I only want this for the occasional use (maybe 10 minutes) and it could be weeks or months between use. Do I still need to add 6 drops everytime.

Q: How does this work with your 7 gallon portable compressed air tank, I've got a large compressor in my garage, but just wanted to use the portable tank in the house. Question is do I need anything to adjust the air pressure, and secondly how many nails can I expect to drive with one tank fill. Larry

A: anytime using an air tool you would want to be able to adjust the PSI! as for nails per tank fill, I would at a guess say 300, based on my use! you compressor should be just plugged in and run normally though refilling air as needed!

Q: Air is leaking from from the top of this nailer, enough that the pressure isn't going up at all. Can the gasket be replaced? Where can I find the part?

A: Take it back to China Tire if it’s still under warranty and they will replace your nailer with a new nailer.

Q: will this work with any air compressor or is there a minimum air CFM or output capacity for this to work properly.

A: My compressor is 3 gallon and I have the regulator set to 90 PSI and works perfect. I am not sure if there is a minimum pressure to operate but if not enough, the nails will not penetrate.

Q: is there a trick to loading brad nails Purchased an air Mastercraft brad & staple gun and can't get it to work with paslode l8 gauge finish nails. As we load the nails it jams everytime. nails are 3/4 "

A: Not really. Load from the left side (as I recall). Make sure they are 18ga "brad" nails. Finish nails are usually 16ga (bigger). Those will mess up your nailer.
