Master Lock 44mm wide x 64mm long shackle.

This lock had a 64mm long shackle. Long enough to enclose the 2 cables I had to lock together. The shackle could be a bit thicker to make it harder to break. Good lock for the price.

Awful lock; excellent customer service!

Dreadful! The padlock broke in less than a day of gentle use, and then the replacement one did exactly the same thing. Canadian Tire were great though - no trouble refund. The lock is awful, but Canadian Tire were great.

Q: How does this lock hold up against weather? I am looking for a lock to put outside, wondering how well this one does in rain and snow etc.

A: It would be a roughly 5 out of 10 for outdoor exposure. In contrast our weather guarded 312D or TRI units 46-1202/46-1204 would be a 7. Our standard Magnum a 7-8 and our weather guarded Magnum a 10. While it is not weather guard it will hold up to the elements in a moderate environment, just fine (ie. On a door, with some shelter from rain etc.. from the eves of the roof. ) It would not fair terribly well if attached to a trailer, where exposed to excessive spray, dirt and dust.
