not enough air flow

had to drill holes in the sides to help with airflow, the charcoal starts well but the higher up prices can't get any oxygen so they take forever to heat up. no problem with the bottom like other reviewers

Not as heavy duty or well made as the Weber model, but does a good job for the price. 2 or 3 pieces of paper will normally get your charcoals going well in about 15 minutes. If you like charcoal bbq you need one of these. Chimneys are the best way to get the bbq going.

A: I didn't measure it, but I own a Broil King Keg (same size as a Large Big Green Egg). I can lit up this chimney at the bottom of the fire box and then empty it inside when it's fully lit. Hope that helps with giving a sense of dimensions.
