This pre-seasoned black pan can be used on all types of stovetops and is compatible with gas stoves, electric elements, ceramic surfaces, solid fuel stoves, and even induction surfaces. A: I suspect you are looking to know where to get non-China made cast iron? Look at the brand Lodge. It is readily available in Canada and is USA made.

Q: Is there any sort of non stick/Teflon/PFOA/PTFE coating on the pan? I have a pet bird and need to make sure this is safe to use, as non stick coatings are toxic to birds.

A: Hello, The pan's coating is pre-season oil, and there is no TEFLON/PFOA/PTFE coating.

A: It’s cast iron so yep. You’re good to go! Just remember to use a really good oven mitt!!! Google cast iron on BBQ or Smoker for more specific care on these cooking items.
