A: This freezer works great, no problems. If it broke down I think it would be best just to buy another rather than spend the money trying to have it repaired.(just think of the labour cost today)

Q: MASTER Chef Upright E-Star Freezer is leaking water from the bottom. So I defrosted it and wiped it dry inside. Turned it back on, waited 12 hours then put the food back. 2 days later there is water leaking. Is there a drain pain that needs to be cleaned?

A: I resolved this issue 6 months ago by raising the freezer 2" (5 cm) to have more air space underneath and in the back. There hasn't been a problem since and this freezer has been a good product. I would like to give this freezer a higher rating now. How do I change my initial review?

Q: I picked this up this unit, it seems fine however was only one basket in the bottom section. The middle and top shelves have no removable white coated wire baskets. The booklet calls them "slide out drawers". Aren't there supposed to be 3 drawers?

Q: I bought this 2 years ago, and love it for those extras, however, I must of lost the manual and do not know how to defrost it. I checked all over the internet, but cannot find one. Please help!

A: Empty the frozen items into a couple coolers to stay cold/frozen. Turn off or unplug the freezer. Put several towels on the bottom inside the freezer and also on the floor. Prop the freezer front up an inch [to keep water from leaking all over your floor]. Leave it to thaw out for an hour. Gather any ice that is dislodged. Gently dislodge and remove any other ice still clinging. Wipe interior dry with a dry towel. Wash interior with mild soap and water [if needed]. Dry. Plug freezer back in [turn on] and wait maybe 30 min for it to get down to proper temperature. Replace all frozen food. [If there is frost on the frozen food, wipe or pick it off before you put it back into the freezer.
