Great Fridge! WORST Parts and Service!

I bought this fridge as a temporary fix because my new refrigerator wasn’t going to be delivered for about 2 weeks. Great fridge BUT the little freezer door broke within a week, the little plastic tab on the side that holds the door in broke off. When I called the number on the back of the User Manual I was told that the “little plastic door” literally 5x12 was going to be $88.00 to replace! Not including g shipping and taxes! The fridge was only 329.99. Although a great fridge, pray it doesn’t break down. These products are “throw away” and end up in landfill because it is cheaper to buy a new one because fixing is more expensive. I can’t imagine how much a more crucial part would cost If a piece of plastic was $88.00. Disappointed

The fridge is operating very well, it is quiet too. Like metal front and side so can attach things with magnet. Look carefully at inside and in the door of the storage shelf/for cans, etc. to ensure will meet your needs.

Q: How long has this model of fridge been on the market. I just bought it on 30 Aug and now notice that it was manufactured 2007/09. Brand new and 13 years old wow. I wonder what it would have cost in 2007? Sitting in a warehouse for 13 years>
