8 months agoA: We have not kept it outside. However it is a solid build freezer. I don’t think it will be an issue keeping it outside.

Q: How often does it need to be defrosted on average, in terms of passage of time?
2 years agoA: So far, I have never needed to defrost this freezer. It's quiet and consistent and I love the little light.

Q: How long is the power cord and what side does it come out off when looking at the front of the unit?
2 years agoA: The power cord is approximately 6 feet long. The cord comes out of the back right side of back.

Q: How much space would you recommend to leave between the wall & the freezer (for quiet/efficient operation)?
9 years agoA: 15cm or 6 inches is minimum for the right side where the compressor sits. Efficiency is compromised with less clearance.

Q: Is this freezer energy efficient?
11 years agoA: You can maximize efficiency by following the instructions in the manual. Additionally, place the freezer in the basement of your home and buy a freezer thermometer so that you can set the temperature to -18C or 0F. Any colder than that is not necessary.
