Unit worked for 30 seconds and then stopped. Never worked again so it was returned and replaced.

The nut that holds the shaft fell out after 1 use. I tried to just screw it back in (it’s a locking nut) but the threads were ruined. It’s a cheap price for a reason. I recommend doing a dry test before putting any ingredients in. Next time I buy a food processor I’m also going to inspect the parts, especially the nuts/bolt that attach the shaft to make sure it’s secure before I buy it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: It states in the product details that the jar is AS which Canadian Tire should have been a bit more specific but it probably does stand for acrylonitrile styrene which can closely resemble polycarbonate items. But as far as BPA is concerned BPA is only in polycarbonate items which are the plastics that are hard clear and listed as unbreakable. So in other words this item is not polycarbonate so it would not contain BPA.

A: I'm surprised no one answered your question as of yet not great on Canadian Tire's part not to try to find this info out it's not the greatest customer service but it does state in the product details that the product volume is 2 L which should be about 8 cups.
