Lids leak!

These are awful - the cover on the pouring hole won’t stay closed, so they leak if you try to transport them. Do not buy, unless you are just leaving in the fridge and not taking anywhere. Also, if you need to shake a liquid in the jar, hold down the cover as hard as you can or it will go flying off. Very frustrating!

Defective threads/wide mouth Masontops Multi Flip

These Masontops Multi Flip Cap lids (wide mouth) are defective. They don’t fit the wide mouth mason canning jars. If you compare their threads to the Masontops Tough Top Airtight lids (wide mouth) which fit mason jars, you can easily see that the threads on the Multi Flip Cap lids are too narrow to fit the jars like the wider threaded Tough Top Airtight lids fit. This may be just a bad batch, but before you buy the Multi Flip caps, check their threads against the Tough Top airtight lids which are more widely spaced threads. I'm referring to the 'wide mouth' products only, not the regular mouth.
