I bought this back in may and was originally less than impressed. First, after 50 years of not owning a pellet gun, I thought I was buying a Crossman, not a Marksman. It wasn't until I bought Crosman pellets that I realised the error..
Anyway, I was going to return it as I was initially not impressed with:
1/ How loud it was.
2/ How hard it was to break the barrel.
3/ How I was unable to get the sights accurate.
4/ It's heavy.
I ended up keeping it because, well, I'm lazy and wondered if there was really any better for the price. So I decided to use a can of pellets (Crosman 250 ct)before making a decision. I gave up on the iron sites, installed the scope and dialed it in.
All in all, it's a pretty impressive rifle, ableit not very sophisticated and it good accuracy from 50-75 feet.

It's a good gun, however the sales person didn't know if it took CO² cartridges and I wasn't sure either, so I brought it. Only when I got home did I realized the rifle didn't use them. I brought the CO² cartridges for nothing. I'll be returning the CO² cartridges when I have the chance

Looks good but not practical

Looks like a rifle but it is very hard to cock and open if you are a woman. It takes only 1 pellet at a time which is annoying as you constantly have to reload when reloading isn’t that easy. Disappointed

A: absolutely NOT for rabbits - unethical a 177 at MAX 495 ft/s does not have enough energy. Squirrels should be ok if you're close enough ~20ft. I am a hunter and hunt rabbits with no less than a 22lr

A: It does but I would not recommend this rifle for that purpose. The trigger pull is terrible and the sights are garbage
