    Excellent deal, very happy with our purchase

    We’ve had this Marcy home gym for about two weeks now and are really pleased with our purchase. Everything about our buying experience was excellent. We ordered online and had it shipped to our local Canadian Tire in Orleans. The web experience was smooth and easy. When we were notified the shipment was ready, we went to the store and all the staff members we worked with were excellent. There were two warehouse workers who brought the boxes out to our car and were very careful and pleasant to work with. The packaging was very well done and all items in the boxes were in perfect condition. The assembly instructions were very well written able the unit went together quite well. We couldn’t be more pleased with every aspect of this purchase. I’m looking forward to many years of use!

    Read all the reviews and took the plunge. This is a great machine covering a large number of possible exercises and It’s easy to use. Also, like other reviewers mentioned, it does take a few hours to assemble. If you’ve been thinking about it….make the move, your muscles will thank you!

    Good for smaller people

    This is a good system, im not going to take away from that. It's well made, easy to put together, minimal tools required and the 150 lb stack is plenty for most people. The downside is it's physical size, as a bigger man, im 6'4" and a shade over 300 lbs, I can't to the butterfly press because my chest is too thick, it also greatly restricts my ability to get in position for the regular press. I have to slide in sideways and push the bars out with one hand to be able to get my second hand on the handle. Then there's my height, the distance the weights can travel limits my range for exercise. The lat pull down motion I reach the limit of the machine before I get my full range of motion. Again the machine is great if youre a petite framed person but some adjustment to accommodate physically larger people would be aweaome.

    Q: Is this adjustable for short people?

    • A: The seat height and back support are unjustable to save cost. I am 173cm high, and my wife 163cm, in general this gym machine is well designed and fit us both quite well for around 10 functions we are using, except that one function needs one extra back support cusion (I had for me desk chair) for my wife. Hope it helps.
