Bon casque fiable et simple. Les 4 capteurs son de mise pour une bonne captation de l'arc dans les coin plus étroit. Je l'utilise sur une base quotidienne depuit 2 semaines et a date je suis bien satisfait

The right fit for me. Head harness is a little cheap and a little hard to work with, time will tell. Decal could have been different. Like maybe some Canadian flags, Northern lights normal images.

Head gear

Bought this two years ago, the head ratcheting system stopper that keeps it from falling down all the time a little plastic tab broke, and I can’t find the replacement headgear. Not happy with this as any of the major welding centers/suppliers cannot sell this because this helmet was made specifically for Canadian Tire so I don’t recommend for that reason you can’t buy parts not happy

A: Having welded for over 50 years as a non ticketed welder, I have been very surprised at the optical clarity of this helmet. To me what matters is can I see and the answer is wow yes. I wish I had known about this helmet years ago. The improved clarity they state is true. Not sure if they all have the standard I bought but I was sad to think what I put up with for years welding with what we had back then to some of the other auto shade helmets sold today that I owned. Lincoln is a good name, great price and proven brand. I would guess it is a 11/11 but what was important to me was, can I see when welding and it is hands down this is the best I ever used. The vision is crisp and clear. The material is not as solid as the old helmets so not sure how it would hold up under hours of welding, The size is good but a snap on helmet would give the smaller size for sticking your head in a tight spot if that is needed.

Q: Do you have to remove this helmet to switch to grind mode? The external dial only appears to change auto-darken range from 9-13.

A: The grand mode switch in located in the inner lens section, so removing the helmet would be required to active the change.
