Great Idea, but Sensor Doesn't Work

I was most excited to give this to my children for Christmas. Assembly wasn't so bad, wasn't that heavy in the box either. Delivery men kindly brought it into my garage for me to hide from my children until Christmas Day. My Dad and I put it together, and when finished we were so excited to see the kids have hours of fun with it. Unfortunately the sensors don't work property and the kids were super upset playing each other. Both my Dad and I made several shots as well and confirmed. Every other shot was not registering, and many that were just hitting the rim only and not going in were counted as shots. I think I got a faulty sensor. I triple checked and the cords in the back are to the proper boxes, and again some are registering as shots on each side, but most are not. Very disappointed. I do not want to disassemble this entire thing again to return so hoping Lifetime will be able to fix it.

Fun but too complicated to select games. Need a shoot and start option.

We've had this double shot since December 2022. We replaced an older original double shot that only allowed 2 players to shoot with no other games. We got the new and improved version so we had more game options, which is fun. This new one was used a lot for the first few months and now only sometimes when our kids have friends over. The old one got used way more because all you had to do was start shooting and it started the game. The new one doesn't have this feature. It should have that option, as well as the other games to choose from. We have found that by the time we look up what game to play, and select the correct one, much of the excitement is gone so it doesn't get played with as much. Is this something Lifetime is changing? Would be nice.

I called about ordering a replacement part for an indoor basketball system that my sons and their friends all love. The part broke because of overuse, not anything defective on Lifetime’s part. Not only were they able to get the replacement part to me, they did it in less than a week and for no charge. Absolutely above and beyond in terms of standing behind their products!

Bought a double shot back in 2017 and recently it stopped working. After some troubleshooting found that the electronics unit on the back of the backboard may have gone out. Called customer service and the representative was very friendly and happy to help. Gave her the model number and additional information and she said she could send out a new electronics unit immediately. The news got even better when she said there would be no charge for this mentioning that there had been some earlier problems with some other units. Thoroughly impressed and was happy to pay since it's over 5 years old but was pleasantly surprised with no charge! Thank you
