My tv legs broke after 4 years. It say in the same spot for 4 years, no movement and the legs broke.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv a bit ago and had a problem getting on wifi. Turns out a wire was bad on tv and they sent someone right away to fix it, I'm a happy camper now!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV for our living room area. This is the perfect size. I like the feature buttons on the remote as we use Netflix often. I love the TV guide feature as I can program for the TV to turn on at a specific start time of a local show. I've not used the IP TV channels much though it looks easy to set up. I also love the info bar feature as I can have a preview of upcoming shows without having to open the full guide feature. Great TV for the price. Would definitely buy another if I need it.

A: Hi Chriss, thanks for reaching out! We're sorry we missed this one! Canadian Tire's response is correct, The dimensions of the TV when mounted on the wall are 43.7” x 3.2” x 25.6”(WxDxH) and with the stand: 43.7” x 9.3” x 27.8” (WxDxH). Kind regards.

Q: Hi I have a bought a 49LG5500 Model in USA and brought the TV to India. I tried to plug in the TV with a step down adaptor 220/110 V. However, the display is not turning on. Can I get some techinca support in India for the same.

A: Firstly, the LG Full HD 1080p Smart LED TV - 49" Class (48.5" Diag), Model # 49LJ5500 is a dual voltage TV (100~240Vac 50-60Hz) so you don't need a step-down adapter. The voltage is not the issue. What is an issue are the built-in tuners in the TV. This TV has an ATSC, an NTSC and a QAM tuner in it and none of those tuners are compatible with the Television Broadcast Standards used in India. You will not be able to receive any TV programming in India with this TV...^IFV

Please pardon us, but we are not clear on your inquiry about what the monitor type for the LG Full HD 1080p Smart LED TV - 49" Class (48.5" Diag), Model # 49LJ5500, would be when you use the TV as a monitor and will need some clarification. The TV is an LED TV and as the title indicates, it has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080, so that will be the same as using an LED monitor with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080...^Ivan.

A: Hello, to help with that, go to Home > Settings > All Settings > Picture. In this menu you can adjust Energy Saving, Eye Comfort Mode and Motion Eye Care which can all have an effect on the brightness. ^AC
