Questions
Q: I was hoping that the switch was to turn off the bottom plug so that there is no power going through when it is off. Could someone let me know if this is true or do I need to buy something other than the one I bought
5 years agoA: This product application is to run on two different circuits - the plug providing GFCI protection to the circuit connected to the switch. (One example of an application where the switched load requires GFCI protection is a Bathroom Vanity light that contains an additional receptacle.) For your application, suggestion would be 152-2552 smart receptacle. Top “Controlled” outlet, using app, while the bottom “Powered” outlet remains always on.
