Q: What is the difference between this product and the non-Max version: LePage Window/Door/Siding Quad Sealant, Clear, 295-mL (product # 064-1068-2 )?
5 years agoA: 064-1068 is a solvent based product, • The bead of sealant will shrink about 30% as solvents dissipate as it cures. • It can be used in spring, summer and fall. • It can only be used outside, hi solvent smell doesn’t allow you to use it inside. 064-1099 • Its an SMP technology, the palmer doesn’t shrink at all so the bead stays the same size. • Its not solvent so it can be used inside and outside. • It can be used and it will cure up to -17 outside… Essentially it has all season application
