This ready-to-use grouting compound is ideal for these areas of your home because it’s water-resistant and siliconized to improve its adhesion in wet environments. The compound also creates a long-lasting, water-tight seal between tiles to maintain the integrity of your tile wall, floor, or backsplash. LePage Polyfilla Wall Tile Grout is also resistant to stains, too, so it maintains its clean, white colour. Our grouting compound is easy to use, as it’s premixed, sets quickly, and doesn’t require any additional grout sealant.

Q: I found there is crack on the grout between the tiles in the bathroom, I think that is non sanded grout. Can I apply LePage Pollyfilla wall tile grout on the old grout? Should I apply on the whole wall or only the cracked grout?

A: It would be better to remove the cracked portion of grout in order to get to the backing of the tile so as to ensure a deep enough grout fill. If you just try to only fill the cracks then there may not be enough penetration of the grout to properly seal the cracks and the cracks may reappear afterwards. It’s quite easy to remove sections of the cracked grout. Be aware that the colour of the new grout may not match the existing grout.

Q: Can this product be used on tile on floor of shower stall? I believe the tiles are called mosaic tiles.No continuous water, shower , and water runs into drain.

Q: How do you use this? apply with putty, sponge of excess? Directions would be useful to add on your page. no reviews on this makes me wonder if its any good.

A: Thank you for the question. The LePage Polyfilla Wall Tile Grout is applied by compacting the material into joints uniformly using a hard rubber float (or flexible putty knife), working diagonally across the joints. It is important to work and finish small areas at a time. Apply and remove excess grout with a damp sponge within 15 minutes after application. Allow the grout to set for another 15 minutes then, remove remaining grout residue diagonally across the surface with a damp sponge until it appears clean. For rough or textured tiles, apply and remove excess in even smaller areas at a time. When grout is firm in about 1 hour, polish away surface film with a clean, dry cloth.
