    Use 1/2 inch or better rope. Very hard on your hands with lighter rope.

    Q: Would this anchor work well for a swim raft

    • A: To anchor any swim platform you should have an anchor line that is at least five times longer than the depth of the water the platform is in. So in six feet of water, use at least 30 feet of anchor line. Our ten by ten platform needed two anchors and long anchor lines to hold at all and still in rough weather, it would drag the anchors.
