Q: This grinder is shown on the LEM website as 0.5 hp. The item title here shows 0.35 hp but in the description it says 0.5 hp. Which is it?

A: The error appears to be in Canadian Tire's description. This is LEM#1779. It is 0.5hp.

Q: Can this meat grinder grind raw chicken wings, thighs and drums (including bones)?

A: Unfortunately the grinder is not designed to process bone and the result would be damaged the plates and knives. Sorry Shawn

Best meat grinder I have used.

I have used it a couple of times now. It does the job very quickly. Easy to clean.

Heavy built.

Just picked one up. Ground about 50 pounds as soon as I got it home. Seems really solid. Quieter than my old one. Just have to feed it kind of slow, because if the feed neck gets to full it air locks and can’t push the meat down. Not sure what’s different compared to my old one but…. Fairly minor but the reason for 4 stars not 5.
