The build is based off of nothing from the games and consists of things we already got in the Lego Mario theme. Add that with the price point, and you get a pretty bad set.

Fun set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son who is 5 and nephew who is 9 had a lot of fun putting this expansion set together! They both love Mario so they were really excited to get started. My nephew has a lot of experience with Legos so it didn't take too long to put together but he let my 5 year old help. It did take longer due to that. When they were done it kept them entertained for the afternoon playing with it. It's a really nice and cute set. I'd definitely recommend and will be looking to get other sets for Christmas!

So much detail went into this with all the little things that Yoshi can do, ie water the garden, eat the cookies, etc. Even after the kids were done building, they had a blast with role playing and pretending to be Yoshi. So fun!
