Product Details

The Parrot Houses (21282) is a high-quality kids’ toy for 8-year-old boys and girls and up with a passion for the popular video game, Minecraft® toy figures and LEGO® building sets. This jungle building set includes Jungle Ranger and Parrot Handler minifigures, plus 2 red parrots, 2 green parrots and a skeleton. The buildable red parrot house features folding wings and has a storage chest and barrel inside. The parrot can be detached from the house for separate play. The buildable blue parrot house contains a jukebox with a music disc element and a function that makes the 2 parrots dance. A diamond sword, axe, chest, map, wheat seeds, coal, diamonds, cocoa beans, shears, torches and other gaming accessories inspire kids’ imaginative play. For digital fun, the LEGO Builder app lets kids zoom in, rotate models in 3D and track their progress.

Great family activity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set comes with two sets of instructions for each structure in the set. The instructions are visually easy to follow with diagrams of where to place the legos. The individually numbered bags keep things organized as you progress with the project. This activity has been fun for my family to work on together. I personally have trouble following instructions with most projects, but find these instructions a breeze to follow! This is also a great project for older kids to work on. I will definitely buy more Lego sets in the future!

Most Impressive LEGO Set I’ve Built

I have always been a fan of LEGO since I was a baby, and continuously buy more and more LEGO sets, so I already know what to expect with them. When I opened this set, I saw that there was an app for all LEGO sets digital instructions, so I thought “Why not?” and downloaded from the provided QR code, and I was instantly amazed. The instruction app are 3D models of the LEGO set you are building, it shows what % you are with it, special animations when you open a new bag, and so many more cool things. Props to the developers of the app and the 3D modelers, the effort really shows and really impressed me! I loved all the small little details of this Minecraft set. I loved the little seeds, the birds, the dancing bird mechanic, the little barrels, the design of the bird caregivers character players,, all the details are executed so well and accurate to the actual game. It took me about 1-2.5 hours to build everything. I really like the moveable wings of the red parrot, the vines on the walls of the fences, and the overall creativeness of this set. I own other Minecraft LEGO sets, and this one has impressed me the most.

It came in a very cute box with all the instructions inside to make it very easy to put together. The price and quality is excellent for me and we will definitely be starting a collection.
