Each playset comes with 6 minifigures: a horse knight king, horse knight champion, horse knight archer, horse knight spearman, blacksmith and serpent knight, plus 2 posable horses. Lego did a nice job of designing a set that emphasizes playability without feeling 2D. My son really likes the great hall and main tower, and enjoys the functionality of the drawbridge.

Building process was fairly easy, the set looks great and is pretty sizable. Only small issue is that the connector pieces are easy to disconnect.
