Satisfying complexity

There are 4 other sets I'd like to talk about in addition to this one: the flower bouquet [set 10280], the wildflower bouquet [set 10313] and the bouquet of roses and bouquet of pink roses [sets 10328 and 10374, which i've assembled into a single larger bouquet]. In previous reviews, I've mentioned that builders interested in the botanical sets might consider starting with the smaller sets such as the petite tiny bouquet then move to sets like the tulips and the flower arrangement; the 5 sets i'm focusing on in this review are among the most complex arrangements that Lego has put together, particularly in the assembly of individual flowers, many of which have multiple petals [this isn't to say that some of the other arrangements don't have similar complexity, albeit on a small scale] but each of these 5 sets is built on this complexity, which brings wonderful realism. Of note, I should actually say that as a previously "comfortable builder" after some of the "world inspired" sets [such as the Japanese bonsai and other arrangements that I have in displays that add highlight to items I've collected from time spent in Japan, China, and England] these 5 somewhat more complex sets were actually the first botanical sets I sat down to put together and really served as the inspiration for me to collect, assemble, and display what I'm pretty sure is the entire Lego botanical collection. I'll finish this review by reemphasizing that my inspiration for wanting to complete the entire Lego botanical collection came from building these five sets [ending with the pretty pink flower bouquet, which was actually the fifth and final of these sets I put together].
