This new design is terrible. We had the old design for 19 years when it got dropped and got a crack in it so I looked to see if I could get another one. New one is not as sturdy and the design is not good. When turning upside-down to place on the bowl portion the bottle needs to be lined up with two plastic tabs all the while water is coming out of the lid. If it doesn't line up correctly the water continues to flow out of bottle then trying to realign it correctly is difficult with the water still coming out. (The original one just flipped over and set in place). We have three dogs, so this happens daily. The bowl portion doesn't come apart for proper cleaning. I'm so disappointed in the new design it was a waste of money.

No, I do not recommend this product.

These little feeders helped so much for rescued cats and kittens that need to be in cages, to acclimate, where the waterers tend to be knocked over and spill all over the place.

Replacement bottle?

Works great. Been using it for years. The base is in perfect condition. The water bottle has broken. It's the 4 gallon size. I'm guessing the two and a half gallon size is the same water bottle design at the top. Why don't you sell the bottles separately from the base in case they break?

Ou reason ot dodnt get 5 stars is because water seems to be getting in the inside of the base, and this is a 2 purcased so not isolated problem

If you have any other questions please call 877-738-6283. Twist Reservoir counterclockwise to unlock. Unscrew black Lid. Lift Filter Strap to remove included Charcoal Filter. Remove Charcoal Filter from plastic packaging. Rinse Charcoal Filter under running water until all charcoal dust is removed. Replace Charcoal Filter into the Lid. Snap Filter Strap back into place. Fill the Reservoir with water. Screw the black Lid back onto Reservoir. Carefully invert filled Reservoir onto Base. Twist clockwise to lock Reservoir onto Base.
