Broke 6 months after the warranty period

Stopped working after 2 years and 8 months, that is 8 months after the 2-year warranty period. The repair center could not repair it because of discontinued parts (after an analysis that cost $ 10). Lagostina did not replace or refund anything. I filed a complaint to Quebec's Office de la protection du consommateur.

Overpriced garbage!

while it may look lovely on your counter, good luck getting your items out! anything smaller than traditional wonder bread slices sit too low. you have to unplug it and then use tongs or similar to get stuff out. I contacted Lagostina directly, as there is a 2-year warranty on the box...they basically said, 'too bad' we only do repairs, no returns! Will never buy another Lagostina product!
