    Great balanced set of knifes

I had bought this along with a henckel knife set, to check them out and see which i preferred and this one won. Initially i was a bit disappointed about the handles. They look fantastic on the picture, but in real, from close up, it almost looks like a print on a plastic handle. Obviously it's not plastic, but it looked weird. I wanted to love the heckel set more because it was beautiful and had nice wood handles, but i couldn't over look the quality difference. This set is SO comfortable in the hand while cutting, and also heavier which gives more control. The blades are beautiful, and really good quality. One of the knifes seems to have chipped slightly. Not that it compromises the functionality, but i'll have to check if i can get it exchanged as i don't think it's normal. Still very pleased overall, bought these on special and regret nothing! Everytime someone comes over to my place they always rave about the knives and ask me where I got them. Too bad they are apparently discontinued :(

    Yes, I recommend this product.
