This 12-piece Lagostina Commercial Clad Cookware is designed to handle a variety of meals, big or small. The durable 3-ply technology uses a heat-radiating aluminum core to thoroughly heat and cook food. The heavy-gauge lids lock in heat, moisture, and flavour. This contemporary stainless steel cookware features a thick aluminum core that distributes heat from the base all the way up the sides for impressive heat conduction and even cooking results.
Premium quality 18/10 stainless steel interior is non-porous, hygienic and will not interact with food
Satin stainless steel exterior is visually appealing, durable and easy to clean
Stainless satin exterior is more resistant to scratches
Stainless steel lids provide a tight seal and help lock in flavour and nutrients while simmering

It comes with two small saucepans, two fry pans, and a pot. Reasonable size for personal use and sturdy heavy bottoms. The heat distribution is great, heats evenly and efficiently, no more burned food.

Great quality, great price.. Bought them for our new house and they look great. Haven't tried them as of yet but I know they will be good to use.

A: I use SOS pads and they work the best. Easily cleans anything stuck to the pots and leaves them nice and shiny.

A: Handles stay cool in stove-top applications but get as hot as the oven temperature when used for baking or as a roast pan. I've been burned a few times forgetting that the pan was in the oven. Overall I love the quality and simple aesthetics of the set and would highly recommend.

Q: Who actually makes these? In my research I have found this identical set under the name brand Lagostina and Cuisinox only in Canada. This product does not exist in Lagostina worldwide products catalogue. Please clarify if this is a re-branding of one or the other.

A: These are Lagostina. Go to Lagostina.ca and they are called commercial clad 13 piece cookware set - they are on that website and it says they are available at canadian tire. they are similar to sears best value. I saw these in the store and they look great.

A: I do not own a gas cook top but the manual / instructions that came with the set say this is safe to use on a gas stove. also oven safe up to 450 F

Q: Is the interior of this cookware 100% stainless steel? The product description makes this unclear, but it clearly states the exterior is SS Lagostina's 3-Ply technology provides a non-porous and smooth cooking surface which is hygienic and will not interact with food

A: Yes - stainless steel interior. Be sure to only heat with something in the pot (i.e., water, oil, etc). Using an adequate amount of oil will prevent sticking. Cleanup is easy.

Q: In the details it says the lids are heavy gauge aluminum and in the features and specs it says Stainless Steel what are the lids made of?

A: It is funny because in the box they say 450f in the oven so whiteout the lid it would be 500f as the good stainless steel handle up to 500f but now the company give the answer a 347f whiteout the lid this is non sense while even on the box they say 450 whiteout mention the lid
