Not a trustworthy mounting system

We bought this to compliment the other 10 or so various Kohler products in the house.
To make a long story short, after drilling holes in my new tile backsplash and making the effort to follow the instructions for installation, I am removing this from our house.
I don’t need a catastrophic pipe incident above a beautiful new Wolf range.
Kohler’s O ring and set screw mounting system is a failure waiting to happen in my view.
I don’t need that hassle. I would love to be contacted to discuss this with someone from Kohler who is truly interested in saving our business.

Terrible Product

We put this pot filler in our brand new home and less than a year later, it blew off the wall and flooded our entire house. This resulted in us having to gut our entire kitchen and basement due to water damage. We have major reservations on the quality of the Kohler brand after this incident.
Furthermore, I am reposting the above review as Kohler seems to have removed it.
No, I do not recommend this product.
