An art piece worth showing off

This is my favourite 60th bday gift, and I could not be happier with it. I waited years to get a Kitchen Aid mixer, and so pleased that this deep green beauty showed up the year I wanted one. It was worth the wait! It is an art piece in my new kitchen. The walnut bowl complements my furniture with its rich in color. It is easy to clean, however, I would get a stainless bowl just for practicality, as it gets very heavy with a double sourdough bread recipe.

Pretty but poor performance from the get go

After over a yr waiting and contemplating buying this mixer, I was able to buy it last week. Today I used it for the 3rd time and it already smells like its burnt and the little handle to locks it down gets stuck when I try to to take it off. I love the color and the bowl because it matches the esthetics of my house, but this thing it's expensive to be this delicate. I have a Kitchenaid mixer for over 10 yrs and she still working strong. I bought this green one because it looks beautiful but honestly, you guys need to invest a little more in fixing them and making them as reliable as the other ones because they are not worth the price. Im contemplating in returning it. Very disappointed 😞 I wish I read the reviews before buying it, the real ones, not the promotional reviews.

Q: Looking at the pictures of the wear and tear of the walnut bowl what is the warranty on this? I am that person that if it is marked or chipped I cannot use it as I am afraid of not being able to clean properly. Any info would be helpful.

A: Hey, in all honesty would avoid this model, as it is the aesthetically pleasing. The up keep is horrendous. Need to oil bowl as it’s real wood, not dishwasher safe, and the up charge isn’t justified for all that extra work. Better off get they 5qt $380 ones.
