Worst slide in I ever owned......

I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the KitchenAid slide‑in range I chose your brand because of its reputation for quality and reliability, but this product has fallen far below even the most basic expectations. From the start, the range has consistently underperformed and created ongoing issues cloudy glass top even cleaning after every use, the stove has been inpossabile to clean even after 5 times per your instuctions no appliance at this price point should have these issues. The design and functionality feel poorly executed, and the overall experience has been extremely unsatisfactory. At this stage, I can confidently say that this is the worst major appliance I have ever owned

No, I do not recommend this product.

  • cloudy glass top
  • inside of oven after cleaning 5 times

Hi, We are sorry to hear you are experiencing this with your Cooktop. Please see the following for cleaning directions. Safety First: Ensure all cooktop controls are off and the surface is cool before you begin cleaning. Prevent Use: Turn on the Cooktop Lockout function (if your model has one) to prevent the burners from being turned on accidentally. What NOT to Use (Avoid Damage): Never use steel wool, abrasive powder cleansers, chlorine bleach, rust remover, or ammonia, as these will scratch or damage the glass cooktop. -----How to Clean (3 Steps) 1. Scrape Off Residue Use a specialized scraper designed for ceramic glass cooktops to remove any stuck-on food or residue. Tips: For the best results, use the scraper while the cooktop is still warm (but not hot to the touch—wear an oven mitt). Hold the scraper at a 45° angle against the glass and apply firm pressure. 2. Apply Cleaner Apply a few dime-sized drops of a ceramic glass cooktop cleaner (like affresh® cleaner) to the stained areas. Tips: Rub the cleaner onto the cooktop using a soft scrubbing pad. You may need reasonable pressure for stubborn stains. Allow the cleaner to dry completely until it forms a white haze. 3. Polish Use a clean, dry cloth or a dry paper towel to polish the surface. Tips: Repeat Steps 1–3 as necessary for any stains that are burned-on or particularly difficult to remove. The Self-Cleaning cycle uses extreme heat (pyrolysis) to turn food residue into easily-wiped-away ash. Tips for Optimal and Safe Cleaning: Clean Moderately Soiled Ovens: Clean before heavy buildup to minimize smoke and odor. Ensure Ventilation: Maintain proper kitchen air circulation (e.g., open a window or use a high-powered, vented range hood). Never Block Vents: Keep oven vents unobstructed for safe heat and fume escape. Protect the Door Gasket: Do not clean or damage the flexible seal; a compromised gasket prevents proper heat and sealing. Detailed Preparation Steps:Phase 1: Preparing the Oven Remove All Accessories: Take out racks, broiler pans, grids, and all cookware—extreme heat will damage them. Remove Foil: Aluminum foil can melt and permanently damage the oven's porcelain finish. Hand-Clean Edges: Wipe the oven cavity frame (1½ inches around the gasket) with a damp cloth, avoiding the gasket itself and preventing liquid from entering small slots on the inner door frame. Remove Loose Debris: Wipe out loose crumbs or large spills to reduce smoke and odor. Phase 2: Preparing Range Exterior Clear Cooktop: Remove all heat-sensitive plastic items that could melt from radiating heat. Empty Storage Drawer: Remove all items from the storage drawer below the oven, as intense heat can transfer downward and cause damage. Initiating the Cycle The oven door must be fully and completely closed for the safety lock to engage and the cycle to begin. If you would like to download or view product literature for your appliance, please visit our Manuals and Literature page. CRITICAL BIRD SAFETY WARNING: Fumes are extremely dangerous to pet birds. Always relocate all birds to a completely closed-off, well-ventilated room away from the kitchen before starting. New stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the stove. It seems to work well. My only negative would be it seems to take a bit longer to preheat to temperature. Maybe because it is also a convection oven. I would purchase again

Yes, I recommend this product.
