Good Immersion Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this awhile back, and I am very pleased with it. The one problem I had was, in setting it up, a piece was showed in the manual that was not in the box. I called about it, and it turns out it was an old manual. It was no big deal really, but I did have to wait a couple hours on hold for the call to go through.

Best brand by far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve wanted/needed an immersion blender for a while now and there are so many on the market i had no idea where to start. I’ve been preparing soups for my aging parents and baby food for my new niece and i use this thing almost daily. It’s a work horse and makes life so much easier. You can’t go wrong with KA brand.

Very Disappointing

I needed a new hand blender with more power so I settled on this one from Kitchenaid. Unfortunately this model is not user-friendly. The power button is very finicky and keeps turning on and off with the slightest movement of my fingers, requiring the use of both hands which defeats the purpose of this appliance. Since I have arthritis in my thumb & wrist, using my thumb was a no-go. This blender is also quite tall when assembled making it a bit unwieldy. It also has trouble staying assembled when in use. The blender arm easily separates from the motor while blending. I returned it for a refund. I have 2 KA stand mixers, one is from 30+ years ago. What happened to the quality since then?

No, I do not recommend this product.
