Questions
Q: Can these be interconnected? So if one goes off the other ones also go off?
2 months agoA: Yes but the new Kidde smoke and CO alarms come with their own new wiring harness, it doesn’t click into the old version which would be a lot easier. I’ve had to rewire 3 of them

Q: Does this unit fit the standard (older hardwire) ceiling bracket size?
a year agoA: No they do not. As of July 2024, ULC has changed teh standards for smoke alarms and as a result of the engineering changes, all of thenew alarms have had to be redesigned from teh wire on down and will not connect using the old wires. The new units do come with teh appropriate brackets and wiring harness.
