Not as advertised and wouldn't let me return

I bought this item as it was supposed to be like the original that came with the trampoline. I wanted one that would go over the springs not just a tie down. When I went to the store I noticed the box showed it had a string tie down. The sales rep assured me that it was the type that went over the springs, and he even showed me a picture of the item online (picture #5 of this item shows its over the springs). So I get home, open the box and find its a tie down, not the over the spring that I was guaranteed it was.
I went back to the store to return as it wasn't what I wanted and they would not let me as the box was opened. I told them the associate guaranteed me it was the correct one and it wasn't. They even call the person over and he again said yes it was the correct one. I showed him the net and he just shrugged and said that must be an older product and walked away. They still wouldn't return the product. Eventually (an hour later) a manager came around and they agreed to take it back but only give me store credit. So now I have two questions:
1. Where can I get a replacement 14ft jumptek trampoline net that goes over the springs (like the one advertised)?
2. What has happened to CT? This used to be one of my favourite stores to shop, the staff knew about product and they didn't hastle on returns (as long as you had a receipt). Now its a roll of the dice if you are getting the right part or item and you have to fight for an hour to return something that was clearly mis-identified.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This 14’ was returned as it only fit half way around our trampoline. We think the wrong size in box. 14 foot

It works as it should. Gives you peace of mind that your little ones are safe and won't go of the edge. We received the trampoline second hand with no net so it is nice to know that this is compatible.

A: Purchased Jump Tek 14 ft. round trampoline from Canadian Tire about 2 yrs ago and require a replacement safety net.....none available on line or in store it appears...please help me find one so my grand children can be safe

A: No it does not include poles. Because our trampoline is older, we went to a local weld shop and had them make 7 ft poles and this net fit perfectly.

A: You could probably make it work by overlapping the net around the bottom and put some of the springs through multiple holes in the net. I wouldn’t recommend it however as I doubt it would look very good plus there would be pockets which could possibly hurt a jumper
